Scheduled Digests

Scheduled Digests let you post a list of items that are still true right now (not just what changed). Use them for backlogs like “overdue tasks,” “due today,” or “unassigned.”

When to use Scheduled Digests

  • Daily overdue backlog in a team channel.
  • Due today reminders each morning.
  • Unassigned or blocked tasks you want to keep visible.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Digests in the sidebar.
  2. Click New digest.
  3. Pick a Notion database and Discord channel.
  4. Choose Only include items where (for example, Status) and Has value (for example, Overdue).
  5. Choose a frequency (daily for Solo, hourly for Team) and a timezone.
  6. Choose fields to include (Title, Assignee, Due date, etc.).
  7. (Optional) Toggle Only send if there are results (default on).
  8. (Optional) Set Limit items (default 10).
    • If there are more than N matches, the digest shows +X more.
  9. Save the digest.
  10. Use Post preview to Discord to send a preview message (available once every 10 seconds). Preview is enabled after the first save.

Changing the run time

If you update a daily digest’s run time to a later hour that hasn’t happened yet, it will run again that same day at the new time. If you change it to an earlier or already-passed hour, it waits until the next day.

Plan limits
Solo plans: 1 scheduled digest, daily only. Team plans: up to 5 scheduled digests, hourly or daily.
